How to Install and Set Up Splashtop Personal for Local Use
Follow these steps to install Splashtop Personal on your PC and tablet, ensuring that the required Splashtop Streamer is properly installed.
Step 1: Install Splashtop Personal on Your Tablet
- Go to the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Search for Splashtop Personal and install it.
- Open the app and create a Splashtop account.
Step 2: Install Splashtop Personal on Your PC
- Go to the official Splashtop Personal Download Page.
- Download and install Splashtop Personal for Windows or Mac.
- Sign in with the same Splashtop account you used on your tablet.
Step 3: Install Splashtop Streamer on Your PC
Splashtop Streamer is required for remote access. You must download it separately.
- Go to Splashtop Streamer Download Page.
- Download and install Splashtop Streamer for Windows or Mac.

Step 4: Ensure Splashtop Streamer is Running

Task Manager

Step 5: Connect Your Tablet to Your PC
- Make sure both the PC and tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
- Open Splashtop Personal on your tablet.
- Your PC should appear in the list of available devices.
- Tap your PC’s name to connect and start using remote access.

- If your PC does not appear in Splashtop Personal, ensure Splashtop Streamer is installed and running.
